This Land is your Land, This Land is My Land

It's official! We bought land. This is indeed My Land. OK, me and my family. After two years of searching for our dream spot we finally found it. And it has water on it, of course. If you know my husband, you would know that water was one of the major requirements, so he can one day build a pond.
So, now that we have purchased this huge expanse of land we now begin the process of building the dream house. What fun, what stress, what an amazing opportunity for me to let my design abilities shine through and get to blog all about the process. We can't wait.
This is going to be a long process, but we are on the right track. I will share with you the minute we break ground. It's great to know when you are finally heading in the right direction. Thanks to everyone who helped make this dream a reality! Hugs!

How exciting is this.

Praying sweet and great prayers that this
turns out better than you hope and that
you will get to experience so many cool memories
here in a place that you will eventually
call home sweet home.

Love it!

Because I grew up in Kansas, your sky line holds special interest for me. Do tell us how much land you got, what's on it now, and what you plan to do with it.

I am the new own of 2 pre civil war cabins in Charlottesville Virginia on 58 acres with a small mountain, creeks and virgin forest. I'm a little over my head with this project. Have decided to start with building a barn, the log cabins will come later.

Wishing you all manner of good luck and good fun. Ann
